Open Mic Letterkenny will host their Christmas Special Open Mic night from 7 - 10pm on Thursday the 12th of December 2013 in the Regional Cultural Centre in Letterkenny. This is a creative platform which encourages pro social activity by building confidence through performance without the need for drugs and alcohol. No cover charge and complimentary mocktails will be served to one and all!

This is a support programme if you or your family is suffering from the strain of a loved one's addiction and you don't know what to do. You may have questions about addiction and need honest answers about treatment and recovery or you want to discover ways to manage the pressure and stress caused by the strain of addiction. The Sligo Traveller Support Group secured funding to bring the play 'Don't Say a Word' to Sligo Northside Community Centre as part of the Domestic Violence Awareness Campaign which runs during that week. Refreshments will be served. It will commence at 10.45 and finish at 12.oopm.

The 3rd successful Drug & Alcohol awareness Day was held during Fresher's Week in Letterkenny IT, facilitated by Mary Healy, Assertive Outreach Worker,the RDTF team and the Alcohol Forum who were on campus handing out information leaflets and wristbands to students.
