The fear of intimidation as a result of drug related debt and the lived experiences of intimidation by service users and their families is an issue that has confronted services for many years. This training is run in partnership with the National Family Support Network and the Garda Siochana and builds on a project between Gardai and the NFSN around responding to intimidation through an interagency approach. The training is to support workers (both family support workers and other workers) to facilitate family members or service users experiencing intimidation to understand the options available to them and to avail of supports if they wish to do so.
