Community Employment (CE) is an employment programme funded by the Department of Social Protection. The aim of CE is to support people who have been long term unemployed to return to work by providing participants with work placements and training opportunities. There are 10 places earmarked for individuals recovering from substance misuse and referred to a place on each CE scheme in Sligo, Leitrim & Donegal. Each participant will be supported by the CE Supervisors on their individual journeys on the programme. 1.
