Findings will not only help to inform service planning throughout the ongoing pandemic but will also provide guidance in relation to ongoing HSE service planning and quality service improvement in order to achieve an integrated and person-centred health service system for those experiencing homelessness across Ireland.

There is one workshop each week that lasts for 2.5 hours. The programme is usually delivered in a classroom setting. However, during COVID-19 it is available online. Arising from COVID-19 measures effective from 22 October 2020, the attached arrangements are in place for community and voluntary drug treatment and related services in NWRDATF Sligo, Leitrim & Donegal, until further notice. Services will continue to operate at their maximum capacity, except that provision has been adjusted to take account of following: • Some buildings are completely closed to the public; • Planned group activities have been suspended; • Staffing rotas have been organised to minimise staff interaction thereby maximising service continuation in the event of a staff-related infection; • The main focus of provision is continued contact with

Opioid Substitution Therapy – New Poster

2020-05-26T15:09:54+00:00May 26th, 2020| Changes to OST The need to quickly adapt services for people who use drugs in Ireland was identified in March with new guidelines and supports put into place. To help reduce overdose risks and other harms among people who use opioids mainly heroin, opioid substitution treatment (OST) was made more widely available. To support new people receiving OST, have worked with UISCE to develop a poster with key messages highlighting changes to OST and how to reduce the harms during this time.
