Thanks to all Projects and Front Line Service Providers who had attended the Resonance Factor Training provided by Ken Robinson at Janus Solutions.
Resonance Factor Training is designed to challenge the manner and scrutinise the conventional wisdoms around Addiction. The training looked at the prism of the person using drugs and provided important perspectives for those working in the field of Community and HSE addiction services.
The North West Regional Drug and Alcohol Task Force where delighted to have this training in Resonance Factor which explores the central role of choice in substance use. The training is brutally honest in confronting the ongoing justifications for those using drugs and alcohol and who seek to maintain that relationship no matter what the cost. All who attended this training found that it helped to create a new found awareness of people who use drugs and the nature of their dependency.
