Alcohol Forum Ireland (AFI) and ARBD Network UK are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming 5 Thursday Morning Sessions on Understanding ARBI, its Treatment and Rehabilitation.
Our webinar style course is a result of collaborative work of Alcohol Forum Ireland ARBI with ARBD Network UK. It offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and practical understanding of ARBI. We believe that it will enrich work practice in all relevant to ARBI sectors, such as acute care, community care, residential care, mental health services, etc.
The course is designed for health, community, social work and social care work professionals who wish to improve their skills and competencies in managing ARBI symptoms.
We are very excited to let you know that the course has recently been CPD Accredited (9 CPD Points) by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland for Nurses (NMBI) and Social Care Ireland (SCI), and we are currently working on extending the CPD endorsement onto additional accreditation bodies.
5 Thursday Morning Sessions on ARBI consists of five separate sessions that will be run on five consecutive Thursday mornings from 10:15 am to 12 o’clock, starting on October 23rd and ending on November 20th (please, check the attached programme for further details).
Each session will be delivered by Dr Ken Wilson, a leading expert and Consultant Psychiatrist in Alcohol Related Brain Damage (ARBD), a retired Professor of Psychiatry from University of Liverpool. Monika Kobylarska, AFI ARBI Resource Officer will host each session and welcome you onboard each Thursday morning.
We will be delighted if you could join us for all 5 Thursday Morning Sessions on Understanding ARBI, its Treatment and Rehabilitation.
Please, confirm your interest with us and register by sending an email to info@alcoholforum.org
Once registered, you will receive a separate link for each session of the course. Each session will be recorded.
In time, the course will be followed with an assessment of learning outcomes, i.e., each attendee is going to receive a link to Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), where you will be required to answer questions specific to each part of the course. You will then receive a certificate of completion.
We are looking forward to meeting you on the day! Please, circulate this invitation within your professional circles. We will be very grateful for that.
With cordial greetings,
Monika Kobylarska, MSc, MPsychol
