The Prevention and Education Sub Group of the NWRDATF welcomed a presentation by the Disabled Persons Organisation at their last meeting which forms part of their work plan. The group where funded to do a piece of research around the lived experience of disabled service users who are using drugs and how the Task Force and other statutory providers can adapt or sign post services for this sector. The main findings of this research will be presented and launched again at the September meeting of the Sub Group where final recommendations will be reported on.
