Accessing Treatment

AccessingTreatmentAlmost all clients are referred for treatments by their GP. This can seem daunting. If you wish to get help accessing treatment, you can contact one of our Sligo or Donegal Assertive Outreach Workers and they will support you or a family member in referring or self referring. GP’s will do an initial assessment and then refer you to a treatment centre, if needed, or point you in the direction of counselling.

It is important to remember that there may be a wait for treatment centres. Screening and de-toxing may be required before accessing treatment centres.

The  White Oaks Centre in Donegal specialises in alcohol, drugs and ganbling rehabilitaion and is located in Donegal. You can access their website here or dowload their brochure here.
